I just got fit into hot metal pro with MMT 85. I have 115dg s200 in wedges. I am considering putting MMT 85 or 105 in new wedges to maintain the feel or maybe KBS tour lite reg (fitter recommended). I was surprised you’d go 105 in her wedges when she’s playing 65 in irons

was a 7 iron used for testing?

I carry a 7 wood and 4 hybrid. I absolutely love both and they have helped my game tremendously. I kind of style my bag like Nelly Korda

If your 10-20 yards farther, but in the rough... for most of us that might mean not finding the ball again... I would always to accuracy over distance!

I have these Wilson staff blades and they are just pure joy to hit and work the ball with coupled along with easy hitting iron and at a much lower price point than the other name brands, it goes to show that you don’t have to have the biggest and best branded clubs to have something exceptional

Would like for you to compare 6x black against ventus non velocore, I have non and had a 340 yd drive this week before this shaft average about 280 ?

I seem to struggle with descending weight, where I feel the club head but not the whole club in the shrort irons, 9-GW especially inconsistent ball striking, fat/thin and missing on the toe side mostly. I'm a senior slow swinger ( Parkinsons ) -68mph 7 Iron, but maintain a 10-11 cap from around 6k yard tees. Any suggestions ? A lot of builds with A flex come in at C9 swing weight, which seems to be the issue, at least to me? Thanks

That tour ad DI 95x is probably the greatest driving iron shaft ever. I have a 105x in my Wilson staff blade 2i and it is unreal

I definitely think the Ping Crossover should have been included. I played with a mid-handicap friend a couple of weeks ago, and he hit it (2i) beautifully. I gave it a try and found it easy to strike and control. You definitely do not need a high club head speed for these. Perhaps because of this, it is in a slightly different category ?

Had the last model of Wilson blades. Did not feel as soft. A bit clicky.

I’ve tested a lot of putters in the store and have owned 5 putters. Including the one I was fitted for. Being fitted is a good thing so you can see your tendencies. However I also learned at the end of the day, you could put the ball in the hole almost every time at your fitting. But things change once it touches grass. If you can’t read slope change on greens, get the green speed down, have greens that are in really good condition…you won’t just be making putts all of a sudden just because you got fitted. So overall, go get fitted sure,but you don’t NEED to. All you really need is to find a putter you like the look/ feel that makes you confident.

what shaft in the wedges?

just got fitted and the Ping was significantly better for me. Handled mishits much better. Strangely, the opposite was true when i went down to 3w.

I noticed this a while back, I now bounce a ball off the face from an inch or so until I find the sweet spot. Another thing I noticed is sometimes the alignment marks on the top of the putter are not above the sweet spot. I putt better without alignment marks anyway apparently, I found this out during a fitting. About the only alignment I like is the white paint across the back of odyssey versa putters. I think my brain just wants to put the face at 90 degrees to the line rather than trust alignment guides.

What procedure, exercise, or medicine was recommended for ur stiff neck, and is it working? I have a constant stiff neck and I love golf.

Guys, i have played with a few driving irons between 2022 and now, and by far the best one you did not review. The ping crossover 2024 is long and its damn forgiving.

Hard to garner too much considering very different set ups.

When you guys talk about and describe the heads like pre-worn edge and stuff like that could you show us the club on what you’re talking about or you just wanna talk about it

I have an older set of Titliest 716 blade irons I’ve been playing for almost 6 years. Prob re gripped them 10 times and have over 100 rounds with them. Bought them used and really strike them well. I’m eyeing up a new set though and think could benefit from an actual fitting to really dial in shaft type.

What about putting this grip on a LAB MEZZ ? I know it will affect the attack angle since it’s not forward press…

I just put a BRNR mini in the bag with a Ventus Black 8TX. I am gobsmacked that I can get this thing 30m in the air with the heavy weight in the front. OFF THE TURF. I love this thing.

I play the 2019 Staff Model blades, and love everything about them.

Played competitive golf for decades but for me golf is a game of minimizing damage and controlling the misses, which happen more than non-miss shots. Having said that hybrid all day for me. Sure driving irons feel awesome and look good and strokes my ego but my scorecard doesn’t care about the looks.

Srixon fairways are elite

Gaming Titleist irons - T350 4i (1 deg weak), T200 5i (1 deg weak @25), T150 6-GW. Not getting along with the T350 4i and considering replacing it with a T200 Utility 4i but concerned at only 23 deg it won’t gap enough to my 5i. Usual ‘lefty’ issues of not being able to find a T200 utility to demo anywhere. Mainly use 4i as an off the tee club. Any suggestions appreciated.

Love the channel guys. The technical insight brought my love for the game back. On that note, a question: does the wider sole of the PXG affect how you would strike a low stinger? And if so, how would you try to hit a low 5 wood (the extreme of a wide sole)? Asking as someone who struggles to hit fairway woods into the wind.

"I struggled" as he hits it 270 pretty much on-line. Not a bad day at the office.
